In May 2014 The Mall Group announced the construction of the shopping and entertainment centre – BlúPearl, which in addition to the shopping area will include theme parks, office buildings, hotels and condominiums.

The new shopping center is one of six planned malls by The Mall Group which will appear in Thailand within next few year. The developer plans to invest in the construction of all projecst more than 80 billion. Baht. Such prospects are due to positive expectations on the development of the economic of Asia and strengthen Thailand as one of the top tourist destinations in the region.
Shopping mall is scheduled to open in 2016. BlúPearl will be the largest shopping and entertainment complex in Phuket, ahead of the Central Festival Phuket and Jungcyelon.
