Main School Language and AdaptationThe main language of the entire educational program at Rawai Park School is English. It is used for 80% of all school lessons and almost 100% of extracurricular and elective classes.
The main concern for parents whose children do not even have basic English is how their child will adapt to the new environment. To reduce these worries, we developed a special method for gradually introducing English into the learning process for new students.
Thanks to the careful support of teachers and friendly support from other students, the adaptation period rarely takes more than two months. After this period, most of our students who previously did not speak English can already communicate freely at a basic level.
Important to know: a language environment has a very fast and highly effective influence on a child. No courses or lessons in countries where there is NO language environment can compare in effectiveness with being part of a group that constantly speaks English.
School Teachers and Education StyleThe teachers at
Rawai Park School are professional educators with specialized education and significant work experience. Subjects taught in English are taught exclusively by native English speakers from the UK, the USA, and Europe.
When selecting each teacher for our school, in addition to a high level of professional skills and knowledge of the subject, special attention is paid to the teacher’s psychological skills as a mentor, educator, and friend to the students. This has allowed us to create an exceptional atmosphere of care and comfort, where children can go to school with joy and desire. The very idea of “forcing” children to study is unacceptable for our school and goes against our educational policy.
Each teacher carefully works on making their subject, which is often very difficult, interesting and attractive to students. This allows the learning process to be based on interest and on the quick and tangible benefits that children get from the knowledge they gain.
A significant number of practical lessons ensures a close and strong connection with the theoretical part of the curriculum, showing children how the knowledge they gain can be applied in a particular subject.
